Judge James Robart, appointed by President George Bush in 2003, ruled the ban would be halted temporarily nationwide, effective immediately.

On the merit, how long do you think this ruling will last? The Nineth Circuit has a long history of looney decisions.
Has fedgov responded? Or are they waiting for Sessions to be confirmed?
Lock down our borders and halt ALL immigration, oh, and tweet the judge and tell him he has no jurisdiction over Americas immigration laws, but see what happens when you think you do!

I’d love to see Trump just dismiss this ruling and instruct DHS to continue his EO the time has long past for these Judges to put in thier place. We have unelected judges overruling a President on non Citizens entering the country it’s just outrageous. Judgeing from DHS reaction they are going along with notion. With the SC at 4-4 at best this ruling will probably stand.

In the terror ridden world we live in you are never on the wrong side when you are protecting your people. The left is positioning themselves where if they win it will be a loss when people die in a terror attack. And if they lose trump wins. Trump can even say he will accept them but increase standards and just reject them one by one. At the end of the day this will always be no worse than a 60-40 issue for Trump if he plays his cards right. Which side is the side fighting to keep you safe at a festival movie or in your church? The moment Trump and Tillerson announce a grand deal for UAE and ksa to pay for safe zones the humanity side of this argument will weaken greatly. Especially when he is the one who announces it.

Sure feels to me like we are in a losing battle with the EO. It seems 90% of the world is buying into MSM spin on this, the Rats, treasonous rinos, never ending supply of renegade Judges Trump is holding his own with public opinion but l don’t know for how long. It doesn’t look good that’s for sure.
I think we would be shocked at the general support for this EO when people understand what it really is minus the media spin.
Where was the outrage and angst when Obama ended the program for Cubans? Oh, right.... outside of a few pols from Southern Florida there was none.
Perhaps the best course of action would be to issue a new EO with language cleaned up regarding handling of green card holders, in transit visa holders, and perhaps add another country or two just show a bit more of legal difference from the original EO.
Otherwise, this has to go to the 9th circus, and then to a split SC. Run the clock out so to speak.
