Okay Rose, tell us how you really feel about your liberal relatives, don’t hold back!:)
Six stages of Democrat Grief:
denial,
anger,
violence
(Stuck Here)
bargaining,
depression
and acceptance
I’m with you. I can’t describe the horrid crap my sister puts on FB. Every once in a while I do a hit and run and infuriate her and for days she tries to draw me in but her posts just show how unhinged she is.
My SIL just sent a text yesterday wanting to know what my husband and I thought of Trump and we both know her politics, he just replied “I love him, Make America Great Again.” The silence was deafening, ha ha.
The ones I used to know like that, would always bring up stupid crap out of the blue like they were looking for a fight. I feel so much better not having to talk to them anymore.
I will NEVER remain silent in the face of libidiot nonsense spewing in front of me!! Eff-em ALL!
Me too. Facebook has become way too political. What few “Liberal” friends” I have, have become unhinged by Trump’s election.
One person and her family, that I have known all my life, de-friended me. When I sent her a note to tell her my Father had died recently, she sent a cold reply. I was really surprised, before Trump, we had spared, nothing too serious, but after the election that was it.
I am just about ready to pull the plug on Facebook. I doubt I will miss it that much, but I admit it is not as fun as it once was.
I've seen some of those snowflake meltdowns on Youtube. It's amazing to watch how ridiculous they've become. They are definitely in stages of grief. We can only hope they get to acceptance but I seriously doubt it with some of these statist fanatics.

It wasn’t a very strong relationship then.
Notice, we didn’t have all this drama when Obama won. The right behaved like grownups. We didn’t cancel all relationships with leftists out of angst.
Couldn’t hurt mine. I realized in 2008 that the “friends” I had who voted for Zero had a world view that was so polluted and evil that I could not trust them around my children or to have my back when it counted. Many people moved to the “associates and other known persons” column later, and now I find that I’m much happier with the radically lower drama quotient in my day to day life.
My question. . .what kind of a relationship was it in the first place. I can’t imagine having a close relationship with anyone with divergent opinions. . .an acquaintance yes, but a close relationship????
***Im glad theyre hurt. We were hurt too for 8 years so F em.***
And we didn’t throw bottles at innocents, or break storefronts, or block city streets. This is all about Obama. I hope Trump unleashes the FBI to dig deeply for any crap they can dig up on Obama
Just plain dumb and gullible.
My sister played the “Trump is Hitler” card on me the other day, complete with the gas chamber comment. It was surreal. She has truly fallen off the deep end. She also thought that rioting and blocking roads was peaceful protesting.
I cut off communications. She can KMA
I don’t think less of those who voted against President Trump because they found his conduct offensive. There is a reasonable case for that conclusion, even though it’s obvious that Hillary was objectively far worse than the worst caricature of Trump.
I have severed relationships with everyone who was enthusiastic about Hillary. In each case, I already had serious doubts about their values, and supporting Hillary was the final proof I needed that their beliefs are incompatible with human decency. So, no, none were close relationships even before Hillary, but she was the final straw in several permanently-severed relationships.
I have a Bernie-loving brother, and I distanced my family from him years ago. Rather than deal with teaching my kids why socialism is evil alongside his constant political comments, while teaching my kids to also respect family, I separated from him for two decades. My kids are old enough to meet him now, if they want to, and to deal with the facts on socialism as educated scholars.
Frankly, my brother is too annoying for me to want to interact with him. I’m happy to talk about my kids and his kids, but he cannot go three minutes without a snide or snarky political comment - even at a family funeral. I don’t bother arguing, since I don’t believe he’s amenable to logic or facts, but that silence bothers him even more.
Many conservatives I know put their energy into preparing for the worst (including lots of range time) instead of whining and throwing fits on video. I'm glad we avoided the ugly final alternative to totalitarian rule, for now. The Ctrl-Left is pouting because they don't get to play dictator yet.
