These companies that are choosing to take political positions are fools. Haven’t they ever heard that you don’t talk religion or politics with friends? They are cutting their own throat.
The best budiness strategy is to stay away from politics or even social issues as you may impress a few people but you will anger lots of people. And for the most part, I don’t think people care about the politics of the guy that sells them lumber or the people that brew their beer.
