Been a pretty mild winter so far. Maybe an early spring after all.
One interesting sidelight of GHog Day is it’s also my birthday. I’m now 55.
The movie was actually filmed in Illinois as one town there had what they thought was a better town center. In the real Punxsawtawney, there are little groundhog statues—mail carrier (post office), firefighter, Statue of Liberty etc.
And oh watch that step it’s a doozy!

Love that movie. I’ve read that the writer originally intended to show that Phil was as reliving the day for thousands of years. He eventually kept track of time by reading one page a day in the library, starting at one end and eventually making it all the way through.
