Yeah, Like the homeowner was discriminating against you because you had kids instead of the fact you were an illegal Mexican alien.

Local 105.7 got my phone call last month to end the liberal bitching/Federal govt complaint department that is their radio station. Its "conservative radio" in the can with no live operators so EVERY commercial is a PSA about the down trodden liberals who cant get a place to live because the property owner wont give in on his rights not to rent to idiots who have an emotional support pig.

AND the wimpy pussified kids that every one is a bully to. Good Grief! These folks cant leave the house without admitting that they are trash in everyones eyes and endless torture in their lives because of their attempts to document their pathetic existences.........

Get off your asses and start doing something productive or your not gonna ammount to
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When the feds have to advertise “common sense” you know the populace is right where the federal government wants them.

I’ve posted the same thing here many times. The ads, are absolutely silly. “Because Dad’s need love too.” or some dribbish. They frequently run on Rush’s shows.

I figure they have a great lobby. Sure, they’re probably not for profit, so Rush runs the ads, but the taxpayer is paying too.

I’ve tried to find out what their budget is, but haven’t been able to get the facts. Judging from the cost of air time, I suspect it’s several million dollars per year in ad money.

Ten million here, 20 million there, pretty soon you’ve saved the tax payer 100 million. In ten years, it’s a billion.

I TOTALLY AGREE! It makes me so angry to have the government promoting government dependency.

;)

I listen to them for comic relief. But it’s getting old. It’s the same thing that happened with Air America. At first I thought it was funny, but it just got boring. Watching the other side fail just doesn’t stay entertaining.

LOL, I was listening to NPR yesterday during other talk-radio ad breaks and actually heard a correspondent opine:

"Is the Trump White House too powerful?"

I almost swerved off the road in laughter!

The Ad Council is a non-profit foundation. If it does work for the government that is by contract with the specific agency. We have much bigger things to worry about than micromanaging PSAs.

I noticed a few months ago that they are re-running old ads. While that might be okay for some things, it is rather dated for the Tech Trends and similar technology ads.

Those are public service announcements, not ads. They are aired for free, and if you’re hearing them in Rush’s show, that means the station was not able to sell that time to a paying customer. PSAs are used to fill unsold airtime.

Some of their ads have always seemed to have a sleezy or otherwise corrupt undertone.

Not to mention the ads push common liberal themes whenever possible.

This may be true, but someone still pays for the ads, ie putting them together. I’d like to know what the bottom line cost is, and who is on the receiving end.

The ads are immature and silly. Someone, I contend, is making a lot of money off the tax payer. If someone can prove me wrong, that’s great, but I suspect it’s another taxpayer boondoggle.
