The technology exists. It would not be hard to put it together.
Problem: technology is neutral; it can be used both ways, and would take our culture somewhere we don’t want it to go - crowdsourced elimination of anonymity.
I could put it together in a few weeks, but balk at the monster it would soon grow into.
Expect it in the near future. _Someone_ will make it happen.
I fully expect the left to use such technology. It is a natural outgrowth of their ideology.

I read (somewhere) that the CU ‘police’ are looking into that matter (bwahahaha) and that the Boulder police may get involved as well (again, bwahahaha). I do NOT expect anything from that.
However, it was mentioned that the FBI “may” be contacted (doubtful at best, IMO) and they would be able to find the author within hours.
One change in this brave new world of Trump, is that the Conservatives are starting to push back. Not hard, and not nearly enough, but there has been obvious improvement. My hope is that if that trend continues, these lefty tactics will drop off. After all, these people are insane, not stupid. Even in a soft jail, little snowflakes would have a very rough go of it.
They’ll talk smack, steal your signs, key your car, turn over your trash cans, or throw something at you, preferably from behind, but they aren’t much when it comes to a straight fight unless it’s five on one. Pepper spray makes a nice back-to-school gift. Just a thought.
