that is a funny story.
My professional opinion is that this came from the FAA, not the military. I’m virtually certain that this plane doesn’t have the new ADS-B equipment installed. The military has been waivered from the need to retrofit their planes. So some FAA wienie probably stuck this onto this unused portion of the form. Remember when Trump announced his candidacy and the FAA renamed several aviation fixes around Palm Beach FL that had been named after him? The FAA is littered with lib appointees just like every other agency.

Pull their wings and assign them to the flightline doing FOD checks and pulling fire guard for engine startups. They can watch all the other aircrews launching to go fly EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. of the remainder of their time on active duty.

Don’t waste time, money & effort on court martial.
Explain to this wise*** that he/she/it has just publicly demonstrated that they do not have the decision making skills necessary for an officer in the Naval Service, let alone those essential to safely and effectively pilot an aircraft.
Give them to option to resign immediately, “For the Good of the Service” or go for the Court Martial. All benefits terminated (this may require a Court Martial??)
That was true when I went through Flight School. I'd assume that it is still true.
That would make more sense - an exchange student pilot from, perhaps, a Muslim nation. Either that or a he/she/it forced on the Services by Clinton/Obama/Mabus
