Twitter Slams Taylor Swift For Missing Women's March As She Is Accused of 'Exploiting' Feminism
Daily Mail ^ | 13:49 EST, 23 January 2017

Taylor Swift may have tweeted her support for those around the world who joined in the Women's March over the weekend, but many people are furious that the self-proclaimed feminist wasn't a part of the protest.

The 27-year-old singer took to Twitter on Saturday to say that she has 'so much love, price and respect for those who marched'. However, while plenty of A-list stars joined the marches across the country, she wasn't one of them.

Although some fans praised Taylor for her tweet, there were plenty of Twitter users who accused the pop star of only speaking out about feminism when it 'benefits' her.

'As a fan of yours, this is some bulls**t. You do not get to pick and choose when feminism benefits you,' a woman named Alyssa commented.

'If you were really for feminism, you would have spoken up against Donald Trump instead of just saying to vote on Election Day. But instead you claim to be a feminist when it benefits you.'

The backlash was so harsh that rock duo Best Coast sent a tweet to Taylor saying: 'Bless your heart for this.'

More than half a million people took to the streets in Washington, D.C. to stand for women's rights, with more than two million more demonstrating around the world

Taylor Swift has stated that she is a feminist numerous times, and she is known for proudly supporting in her famous girl squad. But many argued that she could be using her platform more, particulalry by joining the Women's March.

Chris Rollins, who participated in the peaceful protest, tweeted: 'This is gross opportunism. Be better.'

'He's not bragging; he's stating fact,' the person wrote. 'Taylor Swift is only a feminist when it's convenient for her. She's done more two hurt feminism than help.'

Phyllis Schaffly accomplished more in her life than all of the women marching on Saturday combined.

It’s been speculated she is one of the silent conservatives in the business.

More and more there will be pressure on celebrities to conform to the Party Line. To them now, Silence is Consent.

Katy Perry was paid millions to appear at HRC’s side during the campaign and I am doubting she just turned up “on her own” to the Women’s March.

How much did she get paid and by whom?

Same with Madonna. Same with Ashley Judd. The forces that pay these people WOULD NEVER bother to pay Taylor Swift a dime to appear anywhere.

The story I’ve read is that this march was planned going back at least 12 months, originally intended to be part of Hillary Clinton’s inauguration festivities. The money was spent so they invented pussy hats and just milled about shouting obscenities instead. Makes sense to me.

No. HRC was there all right. I am guessing the money trails leading from Katy Perry, Madonna, and Ashley Judd go back to Hillary, one way or another. They were paid to appear for HRC during her campaign and of course they do not work for free!

Craziest scene ever!

I actually was moved to compassion for the poor lost souls on that march.

They are clueless.

“She’s done more two hurt feminism than help.”

This person’s spelling has done more TO hurt feminism than help.

One of the few sensible things Hillary Clinton has ever done, intentionally or not, is disassociating herself from that hot mess and going to the inauguration.

She knows They were Trouble, All Too Well.

Oh you bet at the next Tay-Squad meeting the Sparks Fly.

These libs can scream about this until their faces are Red.

Like the spoiled 22 year olds they are.

Hopefully Trump will lead us Out of the Woods with this bullocks.

Taylor needs to leave them as a Blank Space on the Christmas Card list.

That’s not how it works. Think McCarthy, except in reverse. The arts/entertainment industrial complex has been infiltrated and co-opted. As a member of the AEIC, you are a walking/talking/singing/performing/painting advertisement and instrument of propaganda for the AEIC.

There are millions of talented people who will never see the spotlight. Some because of lack of ambition, etc. To pick on someone else, say, Lady GG ... do you think she got where she is today on talent? Do you think we’d have heard of her if she’d kept her name and not dyed her hair and put on the act (to promote one of the left’s favorite causes)?

Of course not.

It’s all about the sale, and while the rest of the public doesn’t realize it, what’s on the sale/trading block is our virtue, our society, our values, everything that was mentioned in the 1963 congressional record.

That’s what it’s really all about, and the people with the money and power just pull the strings.

“One of the few sensible things Hillary Clinton has ever done....”

But let’s look at her attending the inauguration.

She was announced at the inauguration as she accompanied Bill in this way:

“President Bill Clinton and the Honorable Hillary Rodham.” YES. RODHAM.

But she was there as Mrs. President Clinton. And if Bill had not been President, she would not have attended. Huma Abedin came alone, dressed in black, and sat a few rows behind them. Not being invited to the luncheon, Huma hung around outside the doors of the luncheon, a sad sight, kind of like a minder or a dog.

So sick of these ‘women’s rights bellyachers’ when they have it sooo darn good in the USA. They should kiss the ground here in America having freedoms and benefits that many of their 3rd world and middle eastern ‘sistas’ could only dream of. American lieberal bigmouthed ungrateful women we are sick of you ALL. Oh and BTW— who is oppressing your rights here in America? Phonies..

Most importantly, none of the people who PAY Katy Perry, Madonna, and Ashley Judd to make appearances at political rallies would EVER pay Taylor Swift to do that.

And they don’t work for free!

The leftists hate Taylor because she’s an actual woman and not some man-hating, always-angry, lesbian douchenozzle.

Which is why I like her! Taylor was the first new celebrity who made it acceptable to be feminine again!
