The way I define a nations standing.
First world: Most people have two to five TV sets, and five Radios, Most have a computer or access to one.
Second world: Most have one TV set and two Radios
Third World: Most have one Radio and no TV set
Forth World: Most have no radios or TV sets.
Fifth World: Most have little or no food—failed states.

Mine:

1st world. They have some nice vintage Martin guitars.
2nd world. They have some vintage Martins, but more Gibsons,Guild and Washburn.
3rd world. No Martins or Gibsons. Mostly locally made instruments.
4th world. No local instruments, mainly cheap stuff left there by tourists.
5th world. No guitars anywhere.
