For the first time since 1998, the Atlanta Falcons are going to the Super Bowl. Thanks to a beautifully dominant 44-21 beat down of the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at the Georgia Dome, Matt Ryan and Co. left no question as to which team was best.
After Green Bay's 11-second, three-and-out drive to start the second half, one which included a pair of drops from tight end Jared Cook, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn was caught in a moment of rare emotion on the sidelines. He was smiling ear-to-ear before snapping back into the typical blank coaching façade we've come to expect. In that moment, he likely confirmed his brightest wishes during halftime. The Falcons had bludgeoned the Packers for 30 minutes already, and the pounding would continue through the second half.

This is so boring. I turned it of with Kapernick and never came back. I realized that the sport is way out of racial balance and they are all on steroids. I hate this professional sport now.It is totally corrupted by political crap.
I was born the year the Falcons franchise started in Atlanta (I’m an Atlanta native). I became a fan at the age of 11 and suffered MANY LONG YEARS in being a Falcon fan. Alas, I had my complete and utter fill of the NFL last year, and have not watched a single game this year. I honestly could not care less that they are in the Super Bowl - not after Beyonce, “hands up”, pink-everything in October, Arthur Blank threatening to move the franchise if he didn’t get a new stadium (when there’s nothing wrong with the Georgia Dome), and finally, when our cowardly legislators bowed down to the NFL when Goodell threatened to withhold a future Super Bowl in the city if legislators passed a religious-liberty bill. Nope. Done.

Comparing two teams here. "Which team was best" is correct when comparing > 2 teams or items.
Plus I'm a Vikings fan. So, while I remember the Falcons keeping the 15-1 Vikings out of the Super Bowl the first year the Vikes had Randy Moss, I'm also glad they beat the Packers.

Being a 50 year Packer fan, this would have upset me terribly.
Having not watched any football this year, I’m unfazed.
