Miguel Ferrer, who had played Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles since 2012 and co-starred with Jill Hennessy on CBS’ Crossing Jordan, died today of cancer. He was 61.

I remember him from Robocop and Twin Peaks. Was great in both.
Lost track of him thereafter, but the man could act. RIP

Yeah, I saw that episode .. but I didn’t know he was being written out of the series. I sincerely can’t say I’ll miss him .. his character was really scummy.

I don’t watch NCIS LA but I remember him from Crossing Jordan, Twin Peaks (which I mostly finsihed watching on Amazon Prime), and a few movie roles, he was the villain in “Blank Check” a dumb movie I liked as a kid, he was in Robocop. He had a bit role in Star Trek 3.
I had no idea Rosemary Clooney was his mother.
My 8th grade teacher was named Ferrer, he said he was related to family, he looked like he was so I believe it.

I also recall he has a very famous sister but I don’t recall who it is.
It was also Rob Lowe’s “comeback vehicle” but yes, it was probably the best TV/movie adaptation of any Stephen King book.

He’s the son of the late Jose Ferrer, also a fine actor, and Rosemary Clooney, cousin to George.............
Yep, I was hoping that maybe they would make a new Dune movie from one of the series prequels books and cast him in the role of a younger Emperor Shaddam Corrino that his father played so well........
