Later on, it looks like the dog went under, and it took some time to rescue him. It could've been handled better. German Shepards are smart. That dog (or one more willing) could've been taught to accept the water if the trainer had worked with him in some conditioning lessons where they both worked in the water together prior to the filming. A good trainer wouldn't have to resort to throwing the dog in the water.
