When I was in high school I worked evenings loading the Bolling AFB Hobart with dishes glasses and silverware along with some buddies.
A couple young black guys washing big pots and pans sang Motown, incl. Sam and they were good.

1967 was a good year for music. No so god w Vietnam Nam...11,000 U.S. troops died and that was the turning point of public support. On the home front, 159 race riots erupted across the country. The first occurred in Cleveland, but by far the most devastating were those that took place in Newark, New Jersey, and Detroit, Michigan. Even at 16, I was wondering “what the hell are these idiots doing burning down their own homes?” So we gave them tens of trillions of dollars and what did we get in return? A bigger permanent underclass with a giant chip on its shoulder, BLM, and complete lawlessness in many of the same cities.
