How Are YOU Celebrating Trump's Inauguration on Friday?

I'm curious how many of you will be celebrating President Trump's inauguration on Friday.

I made a vow to celebrate at Wing's Plus in Coral Springs where Brian Craig, co-host of the Steve Kane radio show (the FIRST on radio to endorse Trump), will have a Trump Inauguration party. I made a vow during the campaign (and especially during a Trump rally I attended down here on Aug. 10) that I would definitely attend.

I remember many nervous times during the campaign and now it will be SWEET to celebrate victory. I know my mind at the party will wander back over many events during the campaign starting with Donald Trump's announcement in June 2015 followed by immediate assertions by the MSM that Trump had NO chance of being nominated and probably wouldn't even last by the first debate.

Over and over and over again, the MSM declared the Trump candidacy dead and EVERY time he prevailed. EVERY TIME! In August 2016, Chuck Todd even kept declaring that Trump would have to drop out of the campaign because it was OVER for him. Yes, they all mocked the very idea that Trump could win...and then he WON. The most INCREDIBLE political campaign in American history.

So it will be great to celebrate. Oh, and while I am at the party, I made sure to record a full 5 hours of the inauguration on TV to savor later.

I have beautifully engraved invitations to parade, concert, ball etc but my health would not allow me to make the trip so a nice young couple are using my tickets. Sitting home in front of fire and TV.

I have to stay home and watch the new President being
sworn in that way. Fang doesn’t like to dance much and
still wants to bend my arm back behind my back like was
in fashion over 50 yrs. ago. I’m 70 and it hurts my joints
to have my arm forced into that ancient fetish that is
not at all romantic to me. (I guess he didn’t pay any
attention to the fact that NOBODY was doing that move in
the whole crowd at the wedding reception. NOBODY.) It went
out with Paul Anka and the sock hops.

I haven’t flown the USA flag in eight years. Been flying historical flags with a dash of rebellion. Tomorrow the Stars and Stripes goes up

Also I put two bottles of champagne on ice before the election. One was drunk at about 3:00 am November 9. The other is popped tomorrow when Dogeater is gone

RayofHope, I'm not nearly as wireless-savvy as you appear to be, so I may have to post an After-Action Report (God willing) rather than post during the events; but please know I will be thinking of all you freepers on the Trump Train every minute, wishing we could all be together.

I've said this before, but I will say it again: this Inauguration would not be possible if not for our stalwart and courageous leader Jim Robinson. His hard work, creativity and originality, and unrelenting faith in his fellow patriots over the past twenty years have made possible this incredible blessing: a second chance for our Constitution. Without FreeRepublic, this electoral victory may well not have happened, and Bill Clinton would be our incoming First Lady.

Words are inadequate to express enough gratitude; but thank you, James.

Have to work, but just knowing the inauguration came and went is satisfaction enough for me. The frustration and dismay week after week; month after month; year after year since 2009 has me just happy we avoided the abyss. We have a real chance at vanquishing the communists here at home and returning us to our rightful place in the world. Not to mention to breathe free again.

I will be at the Inauguration in DC. I have tickets inside the gated area and can also hang out at the Heritage Foundation if it feels too windy or rainy.

Can’t wait!
