I have a 15 year old border collie/chow mix that needs the NSAID deramaxx and tramadol every day. Without these drugs, I would have to euthanize her because she wouldn’t be able to walk. I sure hope drug addicts don’t ruin things for everybody as they are known to do.
That’s what I’m worried about. I’ve had cats on Diazepam. Recently ask if I could put my feral on it to calm his wild butt down just as temp measure but the vet said no. Am wondering if this is why?
We just put down our beloved 17-year old doxie on Sunday. The Tramadol prescribed to her wasn’t helping her pain. Not sure how much an addict would have to take to get anything out of it considering an 8 lb. dachshund wasn’t getting anything out of a quarter tab of the stuff.
