FULL TITLE: 'How can humans do this?' Judge slams 'monster mom' who murdered her emaciated daughter, 11, by punching her so hard that her stomach burst as he sentences her to 43 years behind bars
An outraged Illinois judge on Tuesday sentenced a 34-year-old woman he dubbed a 'monster mom' to 43 years in prison for murdering her 11-year-old daughter with a single punch to the stomach after prolonged abuse.
Nicholette Lawrence, of Waukegan, was arrested on September 5, 2014, after her daughter, Raashanai Coley, was found unresponsive at the family's home on Gillette Avenue and later died.
When she was questioned by police, Lawrence admitted that she had punched Raashanai in the stomach two days prior.

Humans do some truly awful things. Things that are difficult to even speak of without breaking down.
The story of this poor girl reminds me of an incident in New Orleans when I lived there.
A young boy had been abducted by some beast, and at some point during the abduction, the beast struck the boy so hard in the abdomen that his liver was cleaved against his spine, and that boy died an agonizing death. He was 6 if i recall correctly, and I’m not sure if they ever captured the beast.

Obviously the judge hasn’t seen much.
Saw a story here just a few days ago about a young girl that was raped and dismembered to death after her own mother had been selling her. It’s sadly not that uncommon.
We need to bring back old sparky for proven child rapists/killers/pimps. Turn the voltage all the way down to “slow cook” and make videos to set an example
But the extra dollop of cruelty, the gratuitous sadism manifested in your recommended punishment is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
When all else fails, recheck your premises.
I am going out on a limb here by writing I bet the mother was in a lesbian relationship. (Perhaps not at the time of the abuse) There have been other cases of similar abuse involving the male children of lesbian couples. I notice there was no mention of any father.
Not gratuitous sadism. Merely a necessary warning to show these killers what will happen. Going to sleep is not a deterrent for many of them.
Just like they used to put Muslim heads on pikes to make sure the bastards know what lies ahead.
Nobody wants to do it. But it sure beats having your daughter taken by the hordes

Those who are deeply psychically attracted to cruelty will derive gratification from it, and you may even get copycat crimes. Don’t think hell-bent personalities are deterred by degradation and pain, not even their own.
