Well, of those who are eligible, close to 60% deigned to vote. So a little over 40% of those eligible to vote didn’t. I think it goes to show that things aren’t as dire as those who care about politics usually assume. Also it seems to me we are probably a long way from any sort of widespread civil unrest, you would think political options would be exhausted before folks took to the streets. Less than 60% of those eligible caring enough to vote isn’t exhausting peaceful options.
