I thought this was an interesting phycological admission as to how these younger people who have rejected traditional religion and have no idea of history in general try to find meaning in their activism. I am noticing that much like with Islam and my air-quoting "peaceful" religion, I have to do the same with Democrats and Leftists by air-quoting "tolerant" leftists. At least the Chancellor at UC Davis had this to say:

Meanwhile a UC Davis counselor was handing out BS that same night:
