I don’t think we can say India is a third-world country.

My job as an Advanced-Emergency Medical Technician [AEMT]
requires me to enter nursing homes and physically touch the
patients and their personal belonging.

With Superbugs in mind, I carry (in my uniform trouser cargo pockets)
glass bottles of 100% Essential Peppermint and
Lavender oils to use on my hands, fingers, wrists and arms [***not recommended unless your skin is tolerant of direct oil contact, which mine is of course***].

Some of the patients like the smell of Peppermint oil and/ or the Lavender oil.
Both oils are safe for human immune system and are both lethal to viruses, bacteria and prions. They actually work better than alcohol-based hand sanitizer that my ambulance company issues....but I tend to avoid.
Essential oils are re-growing in popularity for home-remedies against chronic infections and acute illnesses due to our Post-Antibiotic / Super-resistant Bacteria time period we are in.

Any country that has an issue with street defecation, is by definition, a 3rd world country.

What’s even more scary is people from this part of the world are pouring in here in droves, bringing their anti-biotic resistant infections with them, with no medical screening being done on them whatsoever.

Does Big Pharma have sufficient financial incentive to develop new antibiotics?

If not, that might be worth adding to Trump's To Do list.

The medication was already developed. it just isn’t FDA approved. She died an FDA approved death, in other words.

A lot of people abuse antibiotics because they don't have the slightest idea how they work. I used to work for a horse trainer that gave his horses a single shot of penicillin before trailering them. He thought it would keep them from getting sick.

I had recurring MRSA. The last time I got it was after a surgery that resulted in a different infection. I had already been on a antibiotic cocktail that left me pretty weak so I didn't tell the surgeons. I cured the MRSA myself using horse antibiotics. One thing though I made sure I spent a whole 14 days using the drug even though the infection cleared in a couple of days.

I am waiting on 2 essential oils so I can make several roll-ons of “Bandits Oil”.

http://www.humblebeeandme.com/bandits-oil/#more-9053

My MIL was recently put in a N Home and is suffering from Bronchitis acquired there over a week ago. My FIL got the bug 4 days ago. I have been dosing him with Peppermint, frankincense and several other essential oils I had on hand and he is getting better. He was outside cutting brush down today. He is also stronger than she is and not in a nursing home.
I am also waiting on a diffuser to keep the air cleaner. I had a small crock pot of water and essential oils going 24 hrs at FIL’s home while he was sick.

The Nursing Home will not allow the diffuser because the other patients may be sensitive to it. Today we dosed her with a chest rub for bronchitis after getting permission. The roll-on of “bandits oil” to the bottom of her feet will be our new routine every visit.

San Francisco and Hawaii?

Most of those doing it in those cities are homeless or crazy. In India it's normal. It's like the spitting in China...it's just been going on so long, few think it's wrong.

TChad :" Does Big Pharma have sufficient financial incentive to develop new antibiotics?

The problem, as I understand it, isn't the money, it's the fact that bacteria are developing resistance faster.
I believe a new discovery has some bacterium resistance found in jellyfish.
That also is why the FDA is trying to restrict antibiotics usage in meat production ( especially turkeys and chicken/poultry farming) where it used to be used routinely.

Oh no, we must let everyone into the United States.

Allowing in superbugs that no antibiotic can kill is a small price to pay in order to advance whatever the agenda is that the GOPe and Obama Democrats are peddling.

Mass death, the new political paradigm.

Well-Done there, 4Godsoloved.

"Bandits Oil" or "Four Thieves" or just "Thieves Oil" blend is amazing.
My Ma 'n I both prefer it for household sanitation,
especially in Winter months.

So glad to hear that Your FIL recovered completely and that Your MIL is healing again.
Even if a diffuser is not permitted, direct-contact on the skin will give the best exposure in higher dosage fro your MIL.

Keep it up and I pray that She gets to walk out of that Nursing home as a discharged patient...
...which a NH admitted person very rarely will ver do, sadly.

Emphasis on "right here"...

Dangerous superbug appears to be spreading stealthily in US hospitals

Hospitals in Boston, MA and Irvine, CA mentioned.

It was unclear how the bacteria acquired resistance.
****************************************************

That’s just how the body works. To illustrate, let’s talk about pain killers. As people take these pills, their body adapts and they develop a tolerance, so that Higher doses are needed.

It works the same way for antibiotics, tolerance (resistance) develops as the organism adapts. In some cases, old time remedies from past centuries have been effective.
