I disagree. Houston vs NE was fantastic. Houston came with a game plan to win. Then the Pats did what they do best. At halftime, they developed a strategy to counter that. And I didn't think Pittsburg vs KC was boring. KC kept it interesting, and if it weren't for the call denying them two points they could've had it at the end.

I'm a NE fan (love that they think things out). But I look at Tom Brady and wonder when he's going to retire. Wondering if he isn't having some lapses. I wouldn't write off Pittsburg.

I’m thinking the Atlanta - New England Super Bowl might be entertaining. The Dirty Birds have been quietly getting it done in the NFC.

Teams Sorted Alphabetically 2017 Super Bowl LI Futures Odds Super Bowl Money Odds (Payout Per $100 Bet.)
Atlanta Falcons +$220 (11 to 5)
Green Bay Packers +$400 (4 to 1)
New England Patriots +$150 (3 to 2)
Pittsburgh Steelers +$400 (4 to 1)

You may as well bet the Pats today, there won’t be any value in it next Monday...

GB v Atlanta is a toss up; N.E wins in a route.

GACK! I went two for four. But I achieved a moral victory with the Kansas City loss. I dare to point out that the crowd overwhelmingly supported Kansas City, and Pittsburgh never scored a touchdown. Fairness and equality of outcome demanded that Kansas City be given the two points they needed to tie the game so that it could go into overtime. And I have proof that the Russians hacked the scoreboard. Therefore, Kansas City actually won. And Dallas lost only because of a lucky field goal. Thus, my picks came up short by a combined total of only 5 points, low enough to trigger a recount.

1. Picking Atlanta. Yeah, Aaron is hot at the right time, but I say he can't stay hot three games in a row. And he won't be going up against a rookie. Dak did a credible job this season, but old age and treachery defeated youth and skill.

2. Picking New England. Pittsburgh shut down the run pretty well, but they won't win against New England by scoring 6 field goals even if they DO curtail Blount and Lewis. Brady is going to have a much better passing game than Alex Smith.

And we should just award Atlanta the Lombardi Trophy because the other three teams have won a combined 14 Super Bowl titles, and Atlanta has none. It's only fair.

Both games have the potential to be last team with the ball wins the game.

It was. And he did.
The defense is playing with spit and bailing wire.
Kind of stupid to denigrate a QB that hung 34 points on you on the road and beat you with some great throws.

Championship droughts of current NFL Final Four:
1965-Atlanta Falcons-Never has won a championship, second oldest team (Minnesota Vikings is the oldest) to have not done so yet in their existence (in either the NFL or AFL among current franchises).
2008-Pittsburgh Steelers
2010-Green Bay Packers
2014-New England Patriots

That’s right. Stoolers couldn’t even score TD’s.

Yawn.

I might be interested when they take a stand against the thugs and the Kaepernicks of the world.

There is a reason ratings are WAY down this year.

Stay tuned for my fearless detailed analysis which I’ll post in a few days on this thread and on a new thread, like I have the last two weeks, called “2016 NFL Championship Weekend: Analysis & Viewing Sheet”. Good stuff. “The stuff dreams are made of...” :)

The first half was pretty good. Houston’s only chance was their defense and once the high-powered NE offense started pulling away in the 3rd quarter it was boring for me.

Neither Pittsburgh nor KC were very inspirational to me. Both seemed a bit lackluster. Pittsburgh never scored a TD and KC had one good drive at the start and one semi-decent drive at the end with the help of penalties. KC kept shooting itself in the foot with penalties. I’ve watched Smith since he joined the Niners and he was always good enough to be pretty good but never championship material. Generally, pretty boring for me especially after the GB-Dallas game which was a hard act to follow.

I’ll be surprised if NE doesn’t stomp Pittsburgh into the ground. I’ll be surprised if it isn’t over by the first half. If not, then sometime in the second half NE as it always does when necessary, will find that extra gear and it’s hasta la vista, baby.

Look for my fearless detailed analysis which I’ll post in a few days on this thread and on a new thread, like I have the last two weeks, called “2016 NFL Championship Weekend: Analysis & Viewing Sheet”. Good stuff. “The stuff dreams are made of...” :)
