Dear President Elect Donald Trump:
Since 9/11, USA intelligence employs 200K Americans in 16 different agencies (that we know of), plus 30K private contractors in 170 countries at a cost of $75 billion per year. And rising yearly.
With due respect, President Elect Trump, do you agree with me and scores of millions of other Americans that 1. our nation is more vulnerable to terrorism than ever, that 2. our classified info leaks to the whole world like a sieve and that 3. the so-called "Patriot Act" has morphed some, if not all of these agencies, into ugliness strangely reminiscent of the East German Stasi?
Yet our US Government persists in calling this, "Intelligence."
Far from it. It's stupidly insane, doing the same thing, repeatedly, expecting different results.
To paraphrase The Great Ronald Reagan, "Mr Trump, tear down this insanity."
Several of these are only technically Intel Agencies.
NRO runs satellites. NGA (which used to be Defense Mapping Agency) does Maps, Charts, and related products. . .
