I love Sirius radio because I learn so much about rock and roll and the 50's that I never knew about.
For example, ever hear of a song "The Lone Teen Ranger" by Jerry Landis (1960) and who he is today?
Try and name him before you google it......

"...ever hear of a song "The Lone Teen Ranger" by Jerry Landis (1960) and who he is today? Never heard of Jerry Landis, or the song, but I was only seven years old in 1960.
A lot of teen 'one hit wonders' from that era went on to establish great careers in other fields.

He was once called the token conservative by one of his profs and just laughed at her. Good for your son. I hope he laughed in the professor's face.

Never heard of Jerry Landis, or the song,
I vaguely remember maybe hearing it once but never again until yesterday. Jerry Landis was actually Paul Simon before Simon and Garfunkle came into being............
And now, you have the rest of the story......

Jerry Landis was actually Paul Simon before Simon and Garfunkle came into being. I guess Landis & Garfunkle just didn't have the same ring ;-)
