Ridiculous. These are objective questions on the reading. If the
reading is assigned, why would anything in it be excluded as
subject matter for a test?
I taught high school English for 20 years, all classics, and all
contain subject matter that must be handled with care.
But on the subject of Angelou: like I said, I taught classics.

I taught high school English...OK, fine, whatever. This was not an English Lit test; it was "Math" supposedly. These questions were a thinly veiled pretext to normalize deviancy. We are faced with an education system intent on undermining decency at every level and by any means.
