One snowflake (the weather kind, not the college student kind) can shut Atlanta down.
As you know, there are 13 Archimedean solids, and a standard torus can be sliced into 13 pieces with just 3 plane cuts.
But Chuck Norris can slice a Taurus into 13 pieces with 2 cuts, to the cheers of a chorus.
That guy is into the number racket! Big time!

We had about that much snow (3 in.) here in Kansas and it was cleared in a few hours. Nevertheless, AAA was running at 4 hour wait for roadside assistance. I only had a flat tire and ended up having to have Mr. Mercat leave the work he was doing 35 miles away to come rescue me. I guess it was the super cold weather here. Still. 4 hours.
And btw, I do or did at one time, know how to change a tire but my little sports car does not have a spare tire. One is supposed to inject the tire with some sort of inflatable stuff which in this weather is frozen solid.

We live in Texas Hill Country now, but lived on the Texas Gulf Coast for years, south of Houston. It snowed at our house one time when we were home to see it. Had snowed right before we moved there about January 1973. Snowed December 1989 but we weren’t home! But Christmas eve 2004 we had a White Christmas, about a foot of snow, along the coast, not inland. Sure was pretty and wonderful that it is so RARE there. Haven’t seen snow here yet in Lago Vista, overlooking Lake Travis, but it was 20 this morning. In the teens out here, all over Hill Country...
I know it’s not Christmas . . but I can I peek at my favorite gift!
Sounds like it was relly nice being Christmas Eve and all.
I really like the snow, sometimes if i can i plan weekend trips up to Maine, NH or Vermont to vacation during a storm at a nice Hotel/Inn.
The thing that i HATE about the snow while home is the anxiety i get thinking about removing the stuff.
I got a 26 yr old Toro 2-stoke snow blower buried out in the garage.
In about ten minutes im going out there to dig it out, buy a gallon of gas, mix in the oil and pray to god that it starts.
Thing has always been finicky, some storms will not start at all other times will start on first pull.
If it stalls and i wait more than 10 seconds to restart it it will be dead for hours.
Saying a prayer right now.....
Not to mention haranguing weak lazy cop-hating effeminate persecuting
