The most asinine bumper sticker I’ve ever seen read:

I LOVE MY GRANDPOODLE

These people shouldn’t be allowed to breed. Wasting so much money on an animal is a far better alternative.

I agree. It is their right and they have the freedom to sickly waste massive money stupidly rather than putting it to better use. I agree.

I am SO sorry for the both of you.

I know all too well how much it hurts and my pets helped me stay relatively sane.

So, if your kid has an expensive illness and it becomes financially exorbitant to fix them, you should just go adopt another kid, instead?

Since we’re dealing in non sequiturs, *how* does the money paid out for this dog affect dogs in shelters?

Should they and their pet insurance company have sent money to the ASPCA instead?

They paid the premiums and the copays.

The rest of it is really none of our business.

I won’t ask for an accounting of your finances because it is none of my business, but I imagine I might find you spend money on something I would think wasteful or unnecessary. ;)
Your money, your choices.
My money, my choices.
Their money, their choices.
