Report: Fox News Considering ‘Pro-Trump Conservative’ Woman to Fill Megyn Kelly’s Time-slot
Breitbart ^ | January 3, 2017 | Staff

Gabriel Sherman reports in New York Magazine on Megyn Kelly’s departure from Fox News for NBC. Sherman’s sources claim that the cable network hopes to replace Kelly with a “pro-Trump conservative” female host in order “to align itself with the new administration.” Another Fox insider tells Sherman that Rupert Murdoch “balked when Kelly asked for $25 million late in the talks,” a claim which a source close to Kelly disputes.

Lately Kelly has a pinched look about her. Much like Mae West in her Myra Breckinridge era. (It’s on most lists of Worst Flicks Ever.)

Exactly right.

The press should be asking tough questions and keeping ANY administration honest and accountable.

Putting someone “pro-Trump” is no different than what the crooked press has done with Hillary and the left.

I don’t want someone pro or anti anything. Just pro truth.

Concur. Atkisson would be a huge upgrade. One America is the current news reader hotness champ.

" Actually, I like Michelle Malkin as much as Attkisson."

Michelle Malkin and Sharyl Attkisson are two of My Role Models.

It is a travesty that they don't reach a truly national audience.

It would be a good idea to get someone who isn’t necessarily pro or anti anyone, but reports truth.

I agree. I would rather have a fair and balanced person that won't let people skate without answering questions.

Laura Ingraham would be my pick too.

I think that’s what the press is supposed to be, although I don’t know if it’s even possible. Everyone has to be either one side or the other.

Shannon Bream would be the most capable. She now fills in for ANY host, does it flawlessly and can handle any slot as well as the host. That takes REAL talent, not just good looks.

A star rising...
“Tomi Lahren”

She might not yet be ready to be the show, but no question, she is a Conservative and rising like yeast dough. Young, attractive, and, most important, friendly but tough.

Ailes hired Kelly knowing he had no time slot for her at the time, but he saw potential and hung on. Now we’ve seen Tomi on Fox occasionally might she be another protege?

These are commentary shows, not news reports. Do you have any suggestions who could be this unbiased, non-partisan political commentator who only deals in undisputed truth that you’re looking for? I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one and am doubtful they exist (some just do a better job of disguising their biases imo).

The idea that if you support a president or someone in the public eye, you must just be an “ass-kisser” is an extreme stance. I take it you have a very low opinion of Tucker Carlson, Hannity, Eric Bowling, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Lou Dobbs, Stuart Varney, Judge Jeanine, etc. because of their attitudes toward Trump?

LOL! I immediately looked up Gabriel Sherman thinking that was the woman being considered. For a split second, I thought, "Man! She is MSNBC ugly!" (The photo was too small in the Google images thumbnail to see the razor stubble.)

Great picture. Sexy, but looking like she’s having fun rather than trying to pose as “sultry.”

No. She’s smart, but would need to cover her body - and she won’t do that. Not known for being a deep thinker either....

Actually the programs under discussion here do not
come under the heading of news. They are actually news
magazines so the hosts are allowed to show their bias.
An example of hard news from the FOX perspective would
be Shepard Smith.

Trish Regan is the brightest of the bunch.

She’s knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects, and not just a teleprompter reader.

I’ve seen Tomi Lahren. She does sound good, but green.

I honestly think that Michelle Malkin has paid her dues and deserves 5 hours a week. She has diligently dug up dirt for a long time. She had the nerve to call Obama exactly what he is, years ago, with Culture of Corruption. She’s a very serious investigative reporter, with no bimbo look about her at all.
