Tweets at link. Oh, but if Setve Martin admitted he had the hots for George Michael that would've been cool with the SWJ's. And this shows one reason why Trump won. Enough normal; thinking people. I HATE this word. collectively telling the PC "not sees" *BLEEP* your feelings! there's always something out there for anyone to get offended by, suck it up at least for your own damn good. Getting offended for the sake of getting offended is like emotional meth. It may give someone a temporary high, a short term feeling of empowerment, but it's rally a self destructive way to go through life.

I saw this earlier. Steve Martin’s tribute was kind, sensitive, and honest. Of course he saw her physical beauty first! What man wouldn’t? Feminists are crazy.

He didn’t even say he had the hots. He said he thought she was beautiful. And later found other attractive things about her.
Only in the PC-amok world of today would any of that be considered insulting.

What did they not like?
- That she was beautiful?
- That she was a creature? (as are we all)
- That she was witty?
- That she was bright?
- That he noticed the beauty first?

Had Steve just switched the order of the two sentences he’d have probably been ok. He failed to take into account that there’s lots of people out there who wake up looking for something to be ticked off about.

Sheesh, the poor guy can’t even speak a kind thought from his heart without having mobs of idiots descend on him.

Talk about getting old and slow. Come on, Steve. The proper response would have been “Well EXCUUUUUSSE ME!”

Screw them. However, Martin must have a thing for pre-pubescent frumps. Princess Layla was no beauty.

People who find fault, who look for insults will find fault or be insulted by, “good morning.” Never look for an opportunity to say unkind words and try to be pleasant and gracious. If somebody is insulted, don’t give a damn. Do what you are going to do. Say what you want to say. Know that if your conscious is clear that the problem is with the observer, not you.

Never apologize to SJW hacks, apologizing to their kind gives them more power.

I have loved Steve Martin since the 1970’s. He is funny, super-smart, handsome, hard working and talented to a fault. His novels are terrific! He plays a banjo like nobody’s business and the music he’s created these past few years has been exceptional!
He’ll never lose me as a fan. Never.

What the hell is wrong with you Steve?
You did nothing wrong. It’s a wonder the Egyptians didn’t kill you in 1979.

First Cinnabon, now Steve Martin? Both tweets were meant as tributes. They both should have let the tweets remain. Anyone taking offense at sincere expressions of grief has an agenda. Clumsy? Maybe, but grief is not neat.

We live in a destroyed social society that Obama has agitated. He gave the insane a wicked sense of entitlement.
That Steve Martin deleted the tweet is the real problem.
