I too wear loose shirts and carry in canted leather OWB holsters. Sometimes I pocket carry a smaller gun. I have tried, but am just not built for IWB.

“Do any of you know what crop destining is?”

Farting while walking.

This?
crop dusting: farting while walking; walking while farting;
`I crop dusted my way down the aisle at the grocery store.’

There’s nothing like pushing your cart through the supermarket, minding your own business—and you walk right into a lingering, stale fart cloud. uh uh uh

Yes, I have a shelf full of holsters.

I REALLY like Fobus paddle holsters. I’ve got them for my Taurus PT111, my CZ82, and my Kel-Tec P-11.

Fobus paddle holster is my number one choice. Second is a shoulder holster.

“That reminds me that when I was a kid, just about every town had a cobbler. They would also typically repair just about any leather product.”

I think I’m going to have this re-done from fresh materials, but not this month.

This old Hume, when the gun wasn’t in it, was completely flat on the outside. So there was no imprint of a firearm on it to suggest that it’s a narrow holster missing it’s gun. The new models seem to have the gun shape molded on the outside. Which means that when I remove it, I’ll still have a certain shape of a pistol there. And my NY clients get all edgy and start bleating.

In my home town, open carry isn’t only acceptable it’s downright good manners.

I’ve been considering a JIT design because a lot of people speak highly of it, particularly for revolver use. I have the 6 (ish) inch barrel on mine.

Does the shape of it tend to catch things, or block shirts and jackets from easily being swept away ? What’s it like to own this thing?

Well, with the long barrel on your revolver, I think it would be a case of try and see. I carry snub nose revolvers mainly in mine. I have a ton of these small holsters for different guns of mine, both revolvers and autos. They are only 25 bucks, so I'm not out all that much if I don't like it.

I've used JITs for guns like my 642, Makarovs, and some older Smith autos. I actually carried a Ruger GP100 3-inch revolver in one just to see how it would fare. With a flannel shirt as a cover garment, it was okay...but the heavy GP100 in the tiny holster pulled away from my body a little. I'm not big at all (5'8"), but it didn't print much at all under my cover garment.

The big plus of these holsters are how easy they are to just put on your belt and go. In my experience, they don't catch on your garment. Are they a perfect solution? No, but they are passable.

I have one of these. Another one I bought to possibly replace my daily - but I wore it once and threw back in the drawer.

If I need to conceal my small Beretta, I use it. It’s uncomfortable as hell though. Pinching, rubbing and generally making me hate the fact that I have to hide my right to carry from a-hole libs who seem to have more control over my wardrobe than I do.

The whole IWB just irritates me and makes me hate about half of the country.

Milt Sparks is the only CCW holster I’d consider.

Not cheap, long wait, well worth it.

And yes, IWB.

“Urban Carry holster”

Robert, thank you so much for posting that link.

Like a lot of people who want to conceal carry, I’ve found the available holsters to all suffer from the same intrinsic design challenges - namely, there’s almost no way to comfortably conceal a pistol inside the waistband.

It looks like that company has come up with a brilliant solution that works well with any body type. After watching that video and perusing their site, I’m convinced it’s the solution for me.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

“Try using it when you are sitting.”

That seems to be the one drawback of that design.

Check out highnoon holsters, link above.
I went there because they fit a lot of CZ models. I’ve got a P-O1 and Kadet too.
And CZ holsters are a little hard to find, as you prolly know.
And CZ-USA if you like kydex.
