For some reason, when matter and anti-matter anhillate, the resulting energy has a right-hand spin that corresponds to matter (not anti-matter).

Why? We have no idea. That’s part of what they’re trying to figure out.

A professor of mine actually wrote a paper on that very thing, which was quite celebrated. It took about 18 months for someone to find a flaw in it. He tried defending it and rewriting it to no avail.

What is an antiphoton?

It's also called a darkon. When you turn on a lamp, what really happens is that it starts to attract and absorb darkons. A bright room is really a darkon-depleted room. A more powerful lamp can really suck the darkons in big league. Of course, the sun is the most powerful darkon absorber in the neighborhood.
