Both ISIS and Al-Queda (who use a different name in Aleppo) surround themselves with human shields. You seem to be blaming Russia for that.
The only way to defeat the deeply immoral tactic of using human shields, aka “Muslim Body Armor” - is to put the blame where it actually belongs - on the ones holding the human shields.

Yup. One thing about your post: whenever I hear the abbreviation “UN”, I immediately translate it into OIC, or OIS; ie., Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Organization of Islamic States. OIC by far and away is the majority of UN members and therefore UN votes. This of course is referring to the General Assembly and not the Security Counsel. The Counsel is the only thing between OIC complete dominance.
Mathematically:
UN == OIC == Islam

Not with some of them, but I am suggesting that uncivilized treatment guarantees trouble, retaliation, and animosity. Russia cannot Grozny and Aleppo other people and suffer no consequence. Genocide and war crimes have consequences even if much of the world turns a blind eye and even if some folks want to cheer Putin on. I know some see Putin as the avenging angel, a true Christian, and a well built stud. He’s actually just a gangster statesman. And when the crips kill one of the bloods we should not be surprised that the bloods will kill one or more of the crips. If folks thing there are no rules to war, there are no laws, don’t expect the victims of Putin, Assad and Iran to behave as if there are.
Israel and the USA deal with problem of ISIS and al-Qaeda and their taking of human shields as well. We and the Israelis do our best to minimize those killed. We use PGMs and smaller bombs. We use better intelligence. We take out a room or a car. Sometimes there are innocents killed. The Russians take out a city. There is no comparison to how the Russians are waging war. Putin’s fans like that he indiscriminately kills innocent people. This does not fit or comport with the long held Christian Just War Theory. It does not comply with international laws. It is not proportional. It may give some desktop Patton’s a great feeling that the shirtless despot in Russia is killing lots of Muslims, but it’s not the way to win the long war.
Yes, we did and Russia wouldn’t have done it like we do. Russia was our ally most of WWII; we we’re waiting for them to crack the East Front. Sending them volumes, almost beyond measure of equipment.

They extended their GULAG to people who had until then been able to avoid Russian communist prison. Today, Putin's opponents are jailed and occasionally murdered on the streets of Russian cities.
Putin mourns the loss of the Soviet Union declaring it the greatest disaster of the 20th Century. He faithfully served that state as a KGB Colonel and spy. When communism collapsed in Russia, Putin chose to become an ultra-nationalist and a religious chauvinist to give him some sort of agenda that might appeal to his people. He controls the Russian Church, like the Czars did, and harasses people of other Christian faiths.
The historian Max Hastings points out the following about the devious Putin: "Putin has made unlawful all published mention of the unspeakable cruelties the Soviet regime inflicted on its own citizens — shooting an estimated 300,000 soldiers for alleged desertion or cowardice — in order to prevail. Antony Beevor’s books, and for that matter my own, are nowadays banned because they describe the Red Army’s 1945 campaign of rape and pillage in Germany."
