Washington (CNN)Donald Trump said Friday he doesn't care about prosecuting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, after attendees at his rally chanted "lock her up." After the chants started at the President-elect's post-election "thank you" rally in Michigan, he responded, "That plays great before the election -- now we don't care, right?"

She arguably deserves to be prosecuted after she sneakily participated in the recounts with the intent of over turning the election. I agreed with Trump that we should let that sleeping dog lie, until she joined with Jill Stein in the recount farce. Now she needs to go to prison.

Yes, I want to see Hillary getting a “mug shot” in jail, not the local pub.
This could be true but let him be smart about it. He won, and will now be able to load the government and the DOJ, FBI, CIA with his people. They’ll do their job. The last thing you want is the president-elect promising to put someone in jail before there is an investigation or trial. It’s not a good look, it’s not smart politically either. DJT needs to get Obamacare dismantled, and get his court appointees through, which IMO, will be the biggest savior of our country. He can’t do that by attacking HRC at this point. I think he could speak a little less dismissive about the topic and make it seem as if he just lied to get votes.
Trump is wrong:
I care VERY much. I wasn’t simply blowing off steam when I was so moved by, “Lock her up”.
The law MEANS something.
In diverse America, the law means MUUUUUUCH more —or it HAS to— than in other countries, where everyone has had the same background for very many generations.
Japan is law-abiding for MANY reasons other than the law.
In America, we have almost nothing but the law, now.
If we don’t have at least THAT..?
Then we have UTTER AND TOTAL CHAOS.

We NEED to hear jangling chains. We NEED her seeing her cell door rumble shut with a dull, resounding CLANG.
This is pretty simple to understand. If Trump says now that he will prosecute Hillary and try to put her in jail then Obama will pardon her. If he makes no signs toward Hillary until he is inaugurated then Hillary is at his mercy.
Only after he takes office can we tell his true intentions.
Personally i think he’s playing them. If he says he’s going to prosecute, then Obama pardons her. If he doesn’t say anything, then Obama can’t pardon her for something she supposedly hadn’t done. We’ll have to wait until after Jan 21st
Get the justice department to indict her and haul her ass to jail. A lot of us do care, enough to want this outcome.
Trump is simply letting everyone know prosecuting Hillary and her minions is not something a President can worry about. We have the new FBI and the new DOJ for prosecutorial purposes.
Trump WILL NOT POLITICIZE the prosecution.

Pretty stupid on his part because until she is locked up, she is going to continue to do everything she can to delegitimize his election if not outright conspire to disrupt his administration and life. The woman is a psychotic criminal, she BELONGS in jail. Get her the HELL out of society!

Trump is now going to say nothing that anyone could claim has “tainted” the investigation, or any jury pool, etc.
I believe that Mr. Trump is currently not saying anything to inflame the snowflakes and lefties any more than necessary. It makes no sense to make bold statements when his mission right now is to get his cabinet into place, get inaugurated, then start immediately with his agenda.
This is why he says non-committal things like he’s “open-minded” about climate change. That means nothing. The snowflakes can interpret that to mean whatever they want, but it serves the purpose of calming things down.
When he takes office, he can proceed with what he wants. As far as I know, there is an ongoing investigation on the Clintons now. I assume they will complete this and send their findings to the new AG. The new AG will likely follow the law and Clinton may face the music...unless, of course, she receives a full pardon from Obama, which I suspect she will.
We do care. Drain the swamp. Start at or near the top. Hillary and Bill for starters.
