I remember my one time with the Victoria’s Secret Supermodels at their beachhouse and they were all in bikinis serving me beer....
wait, that didn’t happen?? WTF!!
At one time, half the people in the United States claimed to have been at Woodstock.
Like when Trump claimed he saw reports of 1000's of Muslims partying in the streets. Since Trump saw it on the News, he believed it was true. It's not his fault that they were claiming it was in the US while showing footage from the Middle East somewhere.

[[Study: Half of people “remember” events that never happened]]
Nonsense, I explicitly remember our current dear leader making America Great again
It’s probably more like 100%. No two people ever remember any event exactly alike. Tell a story from the early years of your marriage in front of your spouse and count the seconds till they tell you that isn’t at all what happened.
Half of the stuff my wife “remembers” never happened. We have a word for people who “remember” stuff that never happened. Psychotic.
Yes. Believing news reporting can make one appear delusional. Then those same reporters will make yet another report about how half the people are delusional enough to have believed their lies.
“Study: Half of people “remember” events that never happened”
and the rest of us can’t remember events that DID happen, so I think things like this average out in the long run ...
Wait a minute. I thought I was married to her.
I do believe in the âFog of Warâ theory to an extent.....Its all about what you experienced from YOUR perspective....

“Fog of war”? I attribute it to the fog of old age, that I cannot remember but about maybe 10% of what happened in that particular hell hole almost 50 years ago and I’m mostly thankful for that.
I agree with you though that different people have different perceptions of what happened, how it happened, how they acted/reacted etc.

Yep.The older I get,the faster I was.
I remember that too, like it was yesterday. :P
Those are the young folks - us older folks have trouble remembering things that actually happened ten minutes ago.
It has happened to me! I remember years ago, a black family that had several sons who worked with me, lived in an old house out in the country. there was a pond behind the house and I asked about fishing there, they told me to go ahead, the owner never came down from charlotte so I would not get caught. I said, no, if I cant get permission from the owner, i aint going.
35 years later and the owner has moved into the house himself in retirement and I live across some woods from him. I asked permission to fish in the pond, and told him that story, he said it could not be, the pond had not been built until at least 15 years later.
He did tell me to fish anytime I wanted to now though. 10 acre pond full of bass and bream.
