“My best friend grew up believing in Santa and was absolutely devastated when she learned that the people she trusted the most had lied to her. She could not understand how they would do that to her and set up in her mind the question of what else they may have lied to her about.”
Your best friend has bigger issues, and frankly sounds about as loony as some SJW.
LOL! That must be what happened to society - too many parents lied about Santa and caused irreparable harm that became part of the genetic line of liberals.
The Big Reveal was one of my worst mess-ups as a Mom.
It was a few days after Christmas, and I was on the phone with a friend, yammering about how I’d hit all the best sales and gotten the best prices ever on the stuff “Santa” had left under the tree.
I turn around, and the first-grader had been standing there listening the whole time, with the most tragic, stunned look on his little face.
Kids who don’t get to believe in Santa Claus and his generous, giving qualities will grow up to be SPOILED SNOWFLAKES!
Or is that being redundant?
More #pizzagate evidence, obviously. Have you posted this stuff on reddit?
Agree. My adult kids and the grandkids - ages 15 and 25 - have had the same stocking since their very first Christmas. Stockings are hung by the fireplace on Christmas Eve after we get back from church services and we always put out cookies and milk. Around our house if you don’t believe you don’t get anything for Christmas.
Santa comes sometime in the middle of the night and stuffs the stockings with candy, a funny pair of Christmas socks, lip balm, a new toothbrush, hand lotion, and some cash - pretty simple stuff. Cookies and milk are consumed and then Santa goes back to bed. It’s just part of our family tradition.
It’s a game played with little kids with OBVIOUS characteristics that make it impossible, then I see no problem.
It ignites and feeds a child’s imagination. And then when the time is right, it creates a small disappointment which, in turn, is a lesson that life is not what we always hope it will be.
The evidence I have posted is really only the tip of the iceberg ... it gets far worse.
Say my name.
I hear that...pretty much the same around our household with the kids and grandkids....
My parents NEVER lied about Santa, and I never believed in Santa. That said, they’d still sign some gifts as from Santa, which was they’re way of saying from both of them.
My husband is in the toy business. My younger grandkids think he knows Santa personally and has his private phone number.
My mother told us that the three wise men brought gifts to Jesus, but we can’t do that, so we give gifts to each other. It made sense.
I never felt my parents lied to me about Santa...When I realized there was no Santa and that it was all a part of the Holiday...No problem with at all...
Good for them...I usually call my youngest grandkids on Christmas Eve and pretend to be Santa calling...They get a big kick out of it...My older grandkids who now know there isn’t a Santa laugh and cut up about the calls when they were younger...It brings back good memories to them and they look at Grandpa with a smile on their faces...
ALL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want one!
Here’s a SantaCam video put together by some Freepers I know two years ago for one of their daughters.
Yes... that’s a REAL reindeer being brought into the house!

I heard the Mrs. wasn’t happy.
If Santa knows who’s been bad or good, he should be working for the CIA.
