Then there's the whole issue of birth control vs self-control.

Right....I don’t see how this affects my relationship negatively. In fact, my gf and I have been in much better moods the last month now that a tremendous amount of anxiety about the future has been lifted. The only people who will have “less fun” will be members of BDG’s harem.
