I've seen this one before and he is indeed, an amazing magician.

Youtube has other clips of him, equally entertaining and baffling.

Not really. Magic tricks are all the same; misdirection, forcing, and preparation. There is nothing amazing about magicians except their presentation, and that should be respected. When you add television into the mix, it is just boring. Buy any book on magic from the last 300 years and you will find that it is all the same trick.

Typical magician’s misdirection. Don’t watch the little stickman’s left hand. Watch his right.

I'm obviously an easily tricked popcorn eater, but watching the stickman's hands did nothing to reveal the misdirection.

And HOW did the magician lead Simon to say the card he had already prepared ?

D’oh. He prepared all the cards. Simple. Magic. Simple. It’s all in the presentation.

So the magician probably had the card behind his back and put it on the bottom of the deck with his left hand. I think I can see that. But how could it be the 7 of hearts? Did he have every card ready to pull or did he draw it without us noticing?

Please elaborate on this. I watched the right hand 3x and all I saw was it pulled the 7 of hearts out of the hat.

I was just kidding! The stickman isn’t engaged in misdirection, the magician is. :-)

Did he have every card ready to pull

That's my guess... Disclaimer: I'm no magician, not even an amateur.

I noticed he stressed the decades of practice he put in on magic and I could believe it would take me about a dozen decades to get good at reaching into my pocket and pulling out the 7 of hearts from a deck I had stashed there. But this guy in the video is obviously tremendously talented.

Both the magician’s hands were on the deck and on camera. Riffle a flip book and it does take both hands.

All I can thing is it is a double deck (no one counted the cards and it looks larger than it should be) and there was a reveal for every card. He’s dexterous and so could find the exact right one, which still takes skill.

That was the video I posted on an earlier thread which seems to have been pulled. Perhaps because this one was posted a couple of minutes later. Hmmmm.

But thank you for sending it.
