I’ll do my best not to hold it against her.

So, how did the phone end up in the dealership’s possession?

Later, he learned that photos of his wife getting in and out of their bathtub from what he described as a "private moment" It's the timeless art of seduction!

> Tim and Claire Gautreaux walked into a car dealership in

That was their first mistake.

I don't know what puzzles me more the couple's urge to take nekkid pitchers of themselves or the idiot who bothered to somehow search the iPhone for them. How did he get access? Inquiring minds want to know. Did he ask "Can I borrow your iPHone for a couple of minutes to look through your pictures?"
I go by the rule that anything that I post online unless GPG encrypted or kept on a secure server may end up in the wrong hands. One has to wonder if they guy found a cache of account passwords on the iPhone too and sold them to hackers. The possibilities are endless.

If you walk in asking to buy a Prius, it’s like announcing “I’m a sucker with money”

One, taking nudes of yourself or significant other is a risk. Sure, different strokes for different folks but...know there is a risk once that photo is snapped. Personally, I have none of me or my wife, and we've never taken any.
Two, storing any important information on your phone is a risk. Sure, it is terribly convenient to have credit card, bank, other info on there. But your phone is your device that is most likely to get hacked, most likely to get stolen/misplaced. It is the worst place to keep important/sensitive information.
Three, never lend your phone to an un-trusted person. Never let your phone out of your sight in someone else's possession while unlocked. It takes just a few seconds to install malware on any device. That stranger with the broken-down car that just needs to call a friend? Make the call for him/her. The finance guy that just needs to see xyz? Show it to him/her while you hold the phone.

This begs the question of why is a pastor’s wife taking nude selfies of herself anyway. I guess its a church trying to keep up with the times . . . .

SMDH.
A few months ago, one of my nephews snapped a picture of my grandson in a restaurant urinal. He was still at the stage of pulling his underwear down before urinating.
Although most of my in-laws thought it was cute or harmless, I lit into him as it could be construed as child pornography.
We live in a different world today.

Gee, if you are going to keep stuff like that on your phone, you might want to at least put some security on the thing.

I showed this to my daughters and said “This girls is why you never allow a picture of you that you do not want me, your mom, your brothers, and the world to see.”
They got the point.
