Browns Corner The Market On Cheapest NFL Tickets [$5 tickets on secondary market]
The Post Game ^ | December 1, 2016 | Jill R. Dodson

A large latte. A McPick 2. Two gallons of gas. Yes, the cost of a ticket to a Cleveland Browns game isn't any more than say, a cup of coffee, a fast-food lunch or fuel to drive about 50 miles. For fans of the Browns, who are dangerously close to becoming the second team in NFL history to go 0-16 in a single season, tickets for the team's last two home games are so cheap, it's hard to think of a reason not to go. Other than misery.

Nothing better than sitting in the Browns stadium in December for a couple of hours...

These days, I have a tough time accepting even free tickets to any televised live sporting event. If I can watch in HD with my own beer fridge, bathroom, zero time sitting in traffic coming and going and sitting in a climate-controlled 72 degrees 365 days a year for practically nothing over what I’m already paying, going to see it in-person becomes a tough value proposition.

I do appreciate the fans that go though as it’d look weird watching teams play in front of an empty stadium.

At this point, it makes sense, so the home team Browns can get the #1 pick. There must be another Johnny Football in there somewhere.

At this point, they might as well bring him back. Even trading for Kaepernick would be a big step up. :)

They could always ask Tim Tebow to come and help. He would put a lot of people in the seats.

My nephew saw tickets for $1 at one of the online brokers. And he said he has a $5 off coupon. So considering they’d owe HIM money, maybe they could apply the balance towards parking or a hot dog.

“it’s hard to think of a reason not to go. Other than misery”

Or you’re rooting for the team they’re playing against.

Watched them play the Giants on TV.

Would not have paid five bucks to be there.

No! He's too controversial. Plus, who needs the circus he would bring - fans, fan talk, media coverage, auxiliary sales, and last minute heroics. All bad, they say.

Just an aside:

Tim Tebow, Arizona Fall League: 12 for 62, 3 doubles, 2 RBI, 8 BB, 20 SO, 1 for 3 stolen base attempts, below average defense.

Those numbers actually aren’t that bad for a non-prospect, but he’s at least a couple years away from the majors.

Johnny Manziel really set that franchise back 5 years.

Brandon Weedon, Barky Mingo and Trent Richardson haven’t been great shakes either.

There was as much blue in evidence at the Browns home game against the Giants than orange and brown.

Read number 11 and get a grip. He will not take them to the Superbowl but he could make them profitable.
