I think the symbol was probably a pedophile code since well before 1997, when this "charity" was made (and presumably the logo for the site).

I always suspected this was somehow tied up in all the Penn State pedo issue.

It seemed like there was an organization underlying all of that.

I don’t know if Joe Paterno had anything to do with it, but his underlings certainly did.
