agreed, but you dont know that before hand. running around aimlessly screaming isnt going to do one bit of good. At least buckled in you might have a chance to withstand the impact, there were some survivors...
Certainly there will be fatalities with the scene looking like that, but there may be fewer fatalities if people followed protocol. While the crewman’s advice may be the opposite of comfort for the families of the deceased, if the advice causes some people in the future to keep their heads, it may save some lives.
Yeah, these were pro athletes in tip top shape. If they didn’t survive impact nobody could.
