In the 70s, I wore jeans. Sometimes Levi 501, but mostly a cheaper version sold at JCPenny. T-shirts, button down shirts with collars, sneakers. During the late 70s, I mostly switched to cowboy boots. About the only item in the article I owned was a crew neck sweater, and I still have a couple. Sweatshirts. Denim or leather jackets.

Hated bell bottoms, polyester anything, burnt orange and avocado green ANYTHING.

But I lived in Arizona and Utah during that decade, and didn’t have any more desire to travel to the big cities then than I have now. The article pretty much proves there have been stupid dorks hanging around for years...

Other than Chic jeans, they didn’t make jeans that fit females. Any self respecting female wouldn’t be caught dead in a pair of Chic jeans because they showed camel toes. Levis didn’t fit our hips. Wranglers would fit our hips but we’d have to sew darts above the back pockets to make them fit our waists a bit better.
