I am with Scalia on this one.So am I, burning the flag has been long noted as political speech. Actually, I think it's passé, and shows a lack of imagination on the part of the protestors.
Of course, should I be near such a protest, I will assert my rights to do whatever necessary to protect our flag.

I’m with Scalia too. I’m a big free speech guy. I would never disgrace the flag in anyway and find those that do abhorrent but protections of speech and conscience are more important.
