Well if you want to look at sanctuary cities for what they are, they do force the middle class to work longer hours to fund all those freebies and the criminals that are drawn to the cities do subject their citizens to more crime (particularly in areas pertaining to drugs, murders, vehicular deaths caused by DWI, kidnappings (babies), theft (big time; rings), and identity theft (major problem). Then there's the other problems in society they create when they don't have vehicle insurance, are carrying fake ID and using someone's identity killing their credit ratings, overpopulation, using so much of the social services other taxpayers can't receive them, not paying taxes, bankrupting cities, voting illegally to keep the wrong people in power for freebies, protests that are staged for said people in power, etc...In other words, major problems...

Been watching him on Fox - he's thrilled that Trump wants sessions as AG and believes that enforcing the rule of law will do the job - enforcement entails prosecuting those who flout the law.....gonna be a howl heard in Hell when Trump does his duty and enforces the rule of law....

Go Gov! Funny how strong leadership at the top (Pres elect Trump) stiffens the backbones of leaders downstream in the chain of command!

Hmmm.
The first city he’s going to affect is his state capital, Austin, which is the biggest barrel of liberals in TX.

I tended to use cuddly words when I left Texas. What I didn’t understand until I left and saw Texas from the ‘farthing glass’ how much common sense there still is in Texas. Thank god.

Yay, for Texas. If there weren’t so many illegals and if English First was the order of the day and if I didn’t believe Mexico will wrest the southern half of Texas away from the Union sooner than later and if I thought they were preserving the Ogallala Reservoir I would be tempted to go back. Sigh. [Year around gardens in Texas, you know...says the inveterate gardener!]

Maybe the californicates who run away from California and brought it with them at the same time will run away from Texas.

On July 2015 on ABC’s “This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” ex-Texas Governor and losing Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry said Donald Trump’s remarks about Mexican immigrants being rapist and criminals were “offensive.”

PERRY: “ I was offended by his remarks. Hispanics in America and Texas, from the Alamo to Afghanistan have been extraordinary people, citizens of our country and of our state. They have served nobly and to paint with that broad of a brush, like Donald Trump did, he’s going to have to defend those remarks. I never will. And I will stand up and say those were offensive, which they were.”... more at breitbart.com ...

Perry receives a serape from Mexican Gov Enrique Martinez,
as a token of appreciation for enacting the Texican Dream Act---
a govt giveaway to illegals.

Subversive Texas Textbooks---distributed nationwide--- vilify conservative groups;
leftist radicals urge use of police power on conservative groups

Breitbart Texas | 09/10/2014 | Merrill Hope / FR Posted by Rusty0604

In 2006, uber-liberal "Texas Rising" stated its mission: "developing an emerging generation of social justice-minded, informed and engaged leaders is essential to the long-term health of our communities and the development of progressive public policy in Texas."

...a sneak peak at the preliminary Social Studies textbook found including distortions, omissions and half-truths all passing for accurate high school US history...

And there's this gem: "The radical right consists of groups that sometimes gather under the flag of militant anticommunism. Often known as reactionaries, they denounce most forms of government regulation, including progressive taxation and restrictions and industry.

Texas Rising radical name examples of political groups on the radical right: John Birch Society, the National States & Rights party, The Christian Crusade, and the Tea Party movement.

Strangely enough, these cream puff radicals who abhor police power would not hesitate to use government police power to enforce the changes they desire. (Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...

THEN-GOV PERRY SUCKS UP TO LA RAZA

PERRY SUCKS-UP LIKE NO MAN BEFORE HIM Perry
showered illegals w/tax benefits....including tax dollars to
educate them to overthrow the US govt.

REFERENCE--- Some 10 years back, Texas schools started used Mexican textbooks for their backward illiterate Spanish-speaking students. Texas textbooks advocated the Mexican perspective including:

<><> anti-white, anti-capitalist anti-USA viewpoints;

<><> Mexican textbooks falsified US history,

<><> proselytized blood-thirsty La Raza savagery;

<><> using teaching as brainwashing;

<><> inculcating violent separatist, latino supremacy idealogy.

==============================================

At a 2008 prez debate, then-candidate Gov Perry glowered at Repubs, chastising them, saying we were "heartless" b/c we opposed govt giveaways to illegals such as in-state tuition (college-level teachings so that illegals can overthrow the US govt).

Texas has the first Sharia Court, triumphal mosque, and Asian Immersion School in the US. How'd that happen?

Circa 2003: then-Gov Rick Perry advances Muslim teachings; builds mosque; sets up Texas Sharia Court

Then-Gov Rick Perry signs agreement with the Aga Khan--Muslim leader.

PERRY: “It is a great honor to be in the presence of the Imam of 16 million Muslims around the world, a global humanitarian leader, a man of peace with a pluralistic vision for people around the world, His Highness, the Aga Khan, the 49th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims.

PERRY: Your Highness, on behalf of 23 million Texans, and over 600,000 thousand Muslims living in Texas, I extend our heartfelt appreciation for your 50 years of great international leadership."

PERRY: "We are delighted to welcome you to the Lone Star State and participate in the celebration of your Golden Jubilee. I am also grateful to the many federal, state and local leaders in attendance tonight. By their presence, these special guests convey the profound respect that exists in the Western World for His Highness’ work and leadership.”

In April 2004, the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and Univ of Texas-Austin finalized a grant proposal that created the partnership that became known as the Muslim Histories and Cultures Program (MHC).

MHC recruited and directly trained 80 teachers affecting approximately 15,150 students of World History and World Geography in ten key Texas districts in 2005 and 2006.

The purpose is two-fold 1) to fulfill Governor Rick Perry’s desire to better educate Texas teachers on Muslim topics and 2) to train teachers to use a cultural lens approach to understanding other cultures.

GOVERNOR'S OFFICE STATEMENT : Governor Perry was instrumental in getting this program off the ground (and was helpful in getting a triumphal mosque built in Texas, and placing Sharia Law in the Texas justice system). ####
