Kiko Alonso turns ‘bad blood’ for Colin Kaepernick into great performance
Miami Herald ^ | November 27, 2016 | ARMANDO SALGUERO

And moments later, in a Dolphins locker room filled with celebration, that was Alonso proudly putting on a headband that replicated the Cuban flag and meeting with his Cuban exile father and other family members to enjoy his enormously productive day.

In the other locker room?

The San Francisco 49ers were dealt their 10th consecutive loss. And Kaepernick, their starting quarterback, wore a Malcolm X T-shirt to his news conference, then claimed I took him out of context after an exchange we had last week about Fidel Castro.

Kaepernick claimed, “I never said I support the oppressive things [Castro] did.”

Now that's taking a stand...or a knee.

why anyone gives a damn what a mediocre backup (on any other nfl team) quarterback from the university of nevada thinks about anything other than play selection on 3rd and 5 is beyond me.

This guy has sure crapped in his own mess kit. He sucks as a QB and he sucks as a human being. He’s also quite ignorant and stupid.

Would like to see a time line correlation between Kolin Kaepernick’s Kapers and the recent downturn of NFL receipts.

I wonder if his own team knows he cursed them? I'm guessing not. If I understand correctly he recently converted to Islam and became a Muslim because his girlfriend, Nessa Diab, is a major leftist, radio celebrity, and an Americanized Muslim who you would be stoned and raped in her own country of origin if she wore the same type of revealing clothes there that she wears here.

Wow, Kiko Alonso got to cause Colin Kaepernick actual physical pain.

Lucky so-and-so.

Kaepernick is drenching himself in bad mojo and will continue to pay the price.

I just love it - if not for the Miami Cuban community, the left wing Heraldo Meeami would be singing the praises of this fool. Viva Cuba Libre! Viva Cubanos de Miami!

My contempt for Islam doesn’t translate to contempt for the individual born into it. But to adopt Islam for the sake of love is an idiot’s quest.

Kaepernick is a national disgrace.

Gabbert lost a few of them before they switched QBs. Not sure how many.

Congress needs to end the antitrust exemption so that the 49ers can reap the consequences of their poor decisions.

There should be NO antitrust exemptions, including for the US and state governments.

Kaepernick played a great game and lost in a heartbreaker by only a few feet. I don’t know how much his political nonsense has cost the team, but I would wager that it is at least a few feet of Field Position. The difference between Winning and Losing.

This is why sports are interesting. Why some teams win and others lose. The effect of attitude and focus. The psychology of the game.

San Francisco is not a bad team. Absent this distraction, one would expect them to be in the middle of the pack and vying for a playoff berth. Instead, this BLMBS has made it impossible to win. This is fascinating to me, and one of the few pleasures of this dreary NFL season.
