Kelly should have been fired awhile ago for negligence in getting the student killed. I am not a big Kelly fan. His antics on the sideline is a disgrace. He throws his players under the bus in public.

All of that is true, plus he's not very smart...went for two a few years ago against Northwestern when no coach in America would have seen the logic. Even before that, he lost me when he interviewed for a job in 2012 with the Eagles after ND had a great season. He's a jag...

Looks like he lost a form of “institutional control” of his team when one of the ND Players injured, stomped and kicked USC players on three separate occasions....

Any trouble that hits Notre Dame is fun to watch. When Father Jenkins had Catholics arrested for praying the Rosary on the grounds of the formally Catholic school (in protest of his giving Obama an honorary JD) I sent him my ND hat with 30 silver dimes. They are not a Catholic school;they are not Irish and as both they embarrass me.

Not a big ND fan, but I have to say the 2015 Clemson vs. ND game was one of the best games I ever saw. ND players left it all on the field that night. What happened to a team that could play like that?

Kelly very publicly shat upon his players in Cincinnati when he told them that he had not accepted the ND job and they learned that he did on ESPN.

He is despised in the Queen City because of his low-rent tactics.
