Can't wait for the reporting on what happened with Tom Herman. Thanksgiving night during the LSU-TAMU game there were confirmed stories that Herman would be hired by LSU today. Someone took LSU for a ride or the incompetent LSU athletic director ****ed up again. Rumors that Orgeron will bring over his BFF Lane Kiffin to run LSU's offense.

Good for him. It was a mistake when USC did not make him head coach.

Yes. It was. Hope LSU rises to the top before USC just to prove that point.

LSU folded on Herman as they knew they could not could not compete with Texas.

Looks like Herman was waiting to see what happened with Texas, since all indications were that Strong may have kept his job if they’d beaten TCU.
Now that Strong is gone, now Herman will go to Texas.

Herman was playing LSU vs. UTx, he wanted to coach Texas all along.
I read elsewhere that Herman wanted 6 million a year from LSU. Before that LSU was offering Jimbo Fisher 7 million and then he balked.
I think Herman is an arrogant @$$ and in the long term LSU will be glad they didn’t land him.

A reward for defeating the Florida Gators last week!
Whats that you say? The Gators scored more points? Who cares, LSU outgained UF by 150 yards or more! Woo hoo LSU!

Some call Saban an arrogant @$$. As a Bama fan, I am fine with that.
I am certainly not ready to say Herman is the next Nick Saban. Sumlin at A&M did very well at Houston as well as several others. In fact, Herman is 9-3 so for this year. There’s a lot more talent around Houston than most realize. Many of these players cannot get into Texas or A&M but can get into Houston.
Yeah, I know Herman was Urban’s OC that beat Alabama in 2014. I believe that loss had as much to do with Lane Kiffin losing his freakin’ mind than Herman calling a great game.

Saban is an arrogant @$$. But he has earned that right.
Spurrier was one as well but I sure was glad he was out ball coach at THE USC for 10 years.

Spurrier had a history of success too. Herman ... not so much ... at least not yet.

Congratulations to Coach O. He's very strong on the defensive side, but Coach O will need help with the O. Lived him since reading about him in The Blind Side.

More likely his agent leaked a false story to get Texas to go after Herman.
