I was directly involved with my grandparent’s decline. I am blessed to have an honest brother who knows how to manage wealth. It is the least I can to do manage their care when it becomes an issue.
Hey, I like that kitty already. Maybe he can grab some of the recount funds Jill Stein is raising and invest it on kittenchow.

As do I, and Congressman Billybob and AGreatPer, and Doctor Raoul, and all the great FReepers we have lost over the years. This is a good day to remember them and give thanks to what they contributed to our cause.
My brother in law has turned out to be a great asset in this situation. He’s basically taken on the duties of executor of both my Mother’s and Brother’s estates. He’s honest, and has a great handle on things.
He and my sister took my mother and brother in back in 2007 when my dad passed away. It was the right thing to do, even though it was stressful for them both.
You’re doing well to have a helpful brother. Mine was a hard-line 1960’s democrat, but I loved him anyway. Even though he was wrong.
My brother has a Wall Street background. I tell people that if the powers that be had promoted financially conservative guys like him instead of the hotshots, we would have never had the financial meltdown in 2008. He now does personal finance and has a very large clientele because he does not chase the home runs, just the singles and doubles.

Happy Thankgiving dirtboy and all! We had our dinner last night so just munching on leftovers all day. We have so much to be thankful for to the Lord today and this year. He has heard our prayers !

Alone here, too. Still grieving the loss of my husband and only child. Don’t have the energy to put on a happy face and be around people who don’t understand devastating loss. It was nice not having to go anywhere or do anything. Thankful for my FR Friends; thankful for Trump’s victory; hopeful for the future. God Bless You All!

Happy Thanksgiving. I’ve Thanksgivinged alone in the past. The thought of it at one time before I’d ever done it would have made me sad, but life is full and occasionally being alone allows better contemplation, especially at a time like this of such high tension. I hope the day went well for you.
