Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein's campaign has notified the Wisconsin Elections Commission that it intends to request a recount of the state’s presidential vote.

The notification follows days of speculation about potential manipulation of election results after Republican Donald Trump pulled off surprise wins over Democrat Hillary Clinton in several key states including Wisconsin.

Michael Haas of the Wisconsin Elections Commission told the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism Wednesday that the Stein campaign plans to ask for a recount, although an official petition had not yet been submitted. Deadline to submit the petition is 5 p.m. Friday, Haas said.

According to Stein’s website, the campaign hopes to raise $2.5 million for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania where President-elect Trump won upset victories over Clinton, who continues to lead in the popular vote that is still being counted.

Is it her threat if Trump doesn’t vow not to have a special prosecutor named?

As I recall, 2008 presidential candidate Alan Keyes was not granted “standing” in the courts (represented by none other than Orly) because, even tho a candidate, he did not get enough votes that it would have mattered.

I thought Obama scorned the notion the vote could rigged.

Why? Does she think she got 4 instead of 3 votes?

According the filing requirements; "Any individual who voted at a referendum election may request a recount of the referendum results. Only a candidate may request a recount of office results. Wis. Stat. § 9.01(1)(a)1. There is no automatic recount, even if the unofficial results are extremely close."

"For the Fee, since there were more than 4,000 votes cast; When a filing fee is required, the cost of the recount should be estimated by the clerk and pre-paid by the petitioner in cash or in another form of payment acceptable to the filing officer at the time of filing. Wis. Stat. § 9.01(1)(ag)3."

So in essence, she must pay upfront by Friday. I'm sure if they are serious, the Hillary Campaign will donate the monies. Will check MI and PA next.

.

They already have boxes of fraudulent votes to “discover” during a recount.

Our rural WI precinct had one voter every two minutes as of around 3 pm. I had an unusual five-minute wait and there was a line. I am usually voter #45 or so. This time, I was voter #175. I saw elderly, disabled people struggling with their walkers while on oxygen. There WAS unprecedented turnout.

We have the electronic machines with the paper trail, but paper was available on request.

I would suspect Hillary stuffing ballot boxes with paper ballots, especially in Milwaukee and Madison, where I would also suspect Illinois voters by the carload.

It would be funny if the recount gave Trump more votes outside the cities. On my side of the state, La Crosse county was the only blue in a sea of red.

According to an article by BillyPenn-Philadelphia News Org.:

"A recount could still happen under court order. But it would be unprecedented in recent history in Pennsylvania. Though statewide recounts have taken place here, they’ve been ordered by the Secretary of State in Pennsylvania and were mandatory under state law because the winner of the election won within a margin of 0.5 percent. That’s not the case here — Clinton lost to Trump in PA by about 70,000 votes, more than a full percentage point.

Massive voter fraud in the state would have to be proven for Pennsylvania to be overturned or invalidated."

So I think PA is out for Stein. Her only hope for any change would be WI and MI.

Horsefeathers.

Hillary’s hopes for a possible reversal died when only 565 more votes were found in Wayne County.

She would need 11,000 to swing the state in her column.

Since Wayne doesn’t have those votes, where would she make them up?

That will make them lose interest in a recount fast.

You can’t win when the votes aren’t there. Period.

Finally for PA: “Candidate-Initiated Options:
While candidates cannot file a direct request for a recount, they may appeal the “order or decision of any county board regarding the computation or canvassing of the returns of any primary or election, or regarding any recount or recanvass thereof.” During the appeal process, the court may determine that a recount is necessary. See 25 P.S. 3157.”

Hillary surrogate. Stein has nothing to gain. She’s trying to avoid the guilt associated with her causing Hillary’s demise. Much as Nader had remorse after Gore lost to Bush.

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein's campaign has notified the Wisconsin Elections Commission that it intends to request a recount of the state’s presidential vote.

Doesn't she have to be within a few thousand votes of the winner to request that? She's around 1.7 million votes shy.

Forget about WI.

Trump is ahead by almost 30,000 votes.

Again, the numbers out of Milwaukee and Dane counties are not enough to put a dent in those numbers.

Same scenario for MI where’s its closer - by almost 11,000 votes. They don’t appear to exist in Wayne.

So Hillary has to find 41,000 votes somewhere. Not gonna happen.

Its gonna be a huge waste of time and major setback to moonbats unwilling to come to terms with reality.

And the country has moved on.

Finally: Time is running out for seeking a recount. Friday is the deadline in Wisconsin. Monday in Pennsylvania and next Wednesday in Michigan.
