By perp you mean also the school board.
I agree.
I think it means that her six-year-old died.
This is just horrible.
Those children should be alive today.
I know - and that is so sad.
Everyone's circumstances are different, but we made a decision long ago to become a one-paycheck family so wife could raise and home-school our daughter.
We forgo most of the things a lot of Americans enjoy, but never have to wonder: "If only...."
The school didn’t do anything because of political correctness. Remember, PC is lethal!
.....this might as well be what they hired
WTF. little kid
Wow!
The school might not have been able to do much if the district had the contract with Durham School Services. It would depend on how the contract was written.
I know that losing a child is bad...but matters could have been worse. She could have been branded a racist for complaining about the driver. /sarc
Look up his picture.
Dude looks like a wired out Snoop Dog
Also from 2014, on Durham School Services... 201 Poplar, BTW, is the county courthouse.

The board should call the attention of that driver or fired that before the accident happened. so sad to hear that news.
Just looked at FEC records for donations from people employed by Durham School Services. Only one screen of info, donations from the small fry. Mostly for Bernie Sanders and Obama. Figures.
A dad was interviewed yesterday, and he also said he had worried about this bus driver and had repeatedly complained.
WTF. It’s so senseless and sad.
I’m not going to blame the mother. She didn’t kill the children, but there are always other choices. It might not have been easy, but I doubt there wasn’t some alternative to putting her kids on a bus with a known very dangerous person.
Guys, the board may not be able to do a dang thing, depending on how the contract with Durham School Services was written.
The question is how in Hades a company with that track record for accidents and problematic hiring practices got the contract in the first place.
I’m curious about this driver’s previous record, has he been in trouble with the law in the past?
I haven’t found anything on the driver. Plenty on the company.
Q: Does Durham have contracts in districts with higher income levels? If not, why? And if they do, are hiring practices and/or accident rates different for the wealthier districts?
