One of Trumps most effective tactics was to constantly shuffle his deck of spokespeople to the media and cycle them in and out to prevent the media from isolating and fixing a single person, personalizing the issue and concentrating on undermining the messenger with “messenger fatigue” and over exposure to stifle the message, This avoids over exposure, over personalization and prevents the media from “getting the number” of any one single individual to the detriment of the message.
Trump should establish a tight knit team of press/media relations spokesmen with a wide range of expertise to formulate the best media strategy and then deploy the most appropriate and effective messengers to deal with the press.
It is to be expected that Trump Administration will be in a constant state of conflict with the anti Trump Progressive media that has declared war on Trumps agenda.
Having a rotating pool of top notch people will prevent the media demonizing and beating down any one person like they did with the outstanding and incomparable Ari Fleischer .
What Trump needs is a diverse team of many Ari level media warriors who are subject matter experts in a wide range of subject matters that he can deploy as he see fit and rotate in and out to keep them from getting worn down or worn out.
Excellent idea. Please make sure you send it to his people?
Your analysis and proposals are outstanding. What you propose is exactly what President Trump should do.
I like the idea of a media spokespeople team. The cost of such a team would be quite large. I wonder if the media would undermine this tactic by questioning its cost?
That’s what I was thinking too! In his team of advisors any one of them could act as the press secretary for the day. If a particular major issue came up then that one person could maintain some consistency through the issue; or not. I agree; the way the presstitutes have acted during this election cycle there’s no reason to make it easy for the political press at all. Let them claw and work for it for a change.
