Foam Blob Fills Santa Clara Street
KTVU ^ | NOV 18 2016 | Leslie Dyste

Posted on 11/18/2016 12:51:11 PM PST by nickcarraway

A mysterious foam has filled a street in Santa Clara.

The foam appears to be coming from a building on Martin Avenue. As of 12:30 p.m., the foam was deeper than 5' in some areas.

A KTVU crew is told the foam appears to be some type of fire retardant. A witness told KTVU the fire system was being tested - when the foam was released.

The foam is blocking several businesses and has completely covered some cars in the area.

Police are at the scene. There seems to be confusion about what to do next, and how to remove the massive amount of foam from the street.

Watch live video of the foam here

At this point, additional details have not been released.

I knew liberals in California have been frothing at the mouth since the election, but I had no idea it had gotten to this point.

I haven’t seen that much foam in years.

Not since a contractor accidently activated the fire suppression system inside an AF hanger. I think the system ended up filling the entire hanger from floor to ceiling since the major doors were closed.

Wonder could this be used to control the various anti-Trump marches?

The buildings next to an airport. I would bet this is fire retardant. It’s coming out of the vents.
